League started with the '75 season. Sim user JPCCR built an awesome one year team,
racking up a team payroll of 100 million. Wins 107 regular season games and rolls
through the playoffs and wins the league's first world series.

'76 draft, who does he select
none other than the legendary
Gary Ross P
Ross has a salary in '76 of 5 million
In '77, Ross comes in at 600 k and is done.

Realizing Ross was not the answer to steamroll another playoff run,
user JPCCR trades his 1st rd pick in the next draft for Luis Tiant.
Tiant has a very nice '76 season, no bueno '77 and a couple decent
seasons in '78 and '79.

User JPCCR informs me he is not returning after the '76 season.
Ok, so I load his team for the '77 season to see what he's got.
Oh dear, what a mess. An 11 million dollar staff.

I sitemailed he owner JPCCR and asked him if he is really going
to leave this mess behind. I gave him one more opportunity to do
the right thing. He said I can't hold him hostage. LOL

Below is the wreck this owner JPCCR is leaving behind for someone
else to foot the bill, for several seasons ahead.

Send the second baseman to have a "talk" with him

Micki, it wouldn't do any good since it's a white Mike Tyson who really did play ball in the '70s to early '80s for the Cards and the Cubs. (I thought it was a AAA dude until I remembered that.) He had a career 27 "knockouts" but a paltry .241 career BA with a .285 OBP, and no ears chewed off as far as I can remember. At 5'9" and 170 pounds, he would intimidate no one. Although perhaps NBA commish David Stern can talk (and by that I mean actually talk) to this owner as his true identity is Isiah Thomas.

........then lock the "other" 2bman in a room w/ said "owner" for 48 hrs.
.......open door, 2bman will still talking and "owner" will be on the floor gone, his brains having melted.

It really is a crappy thing to do (not locking them in a room), but screwing over a team for 3-5 years at least.
I have had to leave alot of progressives over the last few years, but I am proud to say that almost all were in verygood shape.

It's the rare douche that leaves a team in such shambles we need to be rid of, alas, not gonna happen.
