having 4 open scholarships swany had his first chance to bring in his first big recruiting class.  Piedmont has 2 seniors 5 juniors and 5 freshman, swany is not expecting much from this season with only 2 seniors but next year should be a great one.
the 4 recruits
Daniel Coles- should end up with about 80 perimiter and if his defense imroves he should make a good shooting guard

CNU SEASON 57 RECRUITS:

Grade:  B+ - this was a nice recruiting class that addressed obvious holes and depth issues in what CNU hopes will be a title run this year; All 4 players will be contributors and can start depending on other players on team.  A well-balanced class that compliments each other well.   Kept from being an A grade just because none of the players are all around studs at their position who can take over a game both offensively and defensively, but certainly would be very happy with a class of this caliber most every year.  Pair these guys with 1 superstar player and they will be a threat for deep NT runs

A Morin:   Solid guard with PG potential depending on passing cap (not sure if it is h or h/h); won't hurt the team when he's on the court, won't put them over the top
Ath:   55 -
Sp:  53 - H
Rb: 13 - avg
Def:  39 - H
SB: 1 - L
LP:  27 - L
Per:  35 - Avg
BH:  45 - H
Pass:  28 - H
WE:  44
Stam:  81
FT:  C+

S. Huey:  will be a strong starter for 3+ years; nice sp/ath/def combination with ability to play PG/SG/SF all equally well; could be a game changer if Per H/H gets to the 80s
Ath: 48 - H
Sp:  49 - H
Reb: 14 - H
Def: 54 - H
SB: 12 - L
LP: 10 - avg
Per:  23 - H/H
BH:  48 - H
Pass:  40 - H
WE:  29
Stam: 77
FT: C-

H. Janke: (PF) - Will be a solid PF/C for 4 years; already can score, with some Ath uptick and H/H rebounding, could be an anchor down low; won't blow people away like Heise, but should put up an efficient 10+ points and grab 7ish rebounds per game by Junior year
Ath: 44 - H

LP: 70 - avg
Per: 1 - l
BH: 13 - H/H
Pass: 24 - L
WE: 46
Stam: 69 - avg
FT: C+

M. Fonseca: (C)  Will be a defensive beast for 3 years;  Will be able to place him on the teams best LP player and effectively shut them down 1-on-1; Def will hit 90's+; combined with solid to very good rebounding (depending on h/h cap) and good passing, will be rebounding force as well.  Will be interesting to see whether he becomes a fulltime starter or just a spot starter to crush opponents LP game as his offense will never be much; ultimately will depend on other LP options but even paired with Jahnke will be a nice frontcourt that I would comfortable trot out everygame

Coming off a great season, a second round NT appearance and finally hurdling the C prestige coach swany is 'exceeding expectations' which is great.  After graduating the 5th highest scorer ever in Piedmont history and the 16th best rebounder this season should be a rebuilding season.  This recruiting class gets a 8/10 swany is very happy with this class but instead of finishing recruiting with 10,000 left he finished with just 2,000 because of freaking David Simonds who will not redshirt for his life.  Swany came into recruiting with a but-load of cash due to the great NT for the conference and because he had no scollies last season.
Season 58 recruiting class:
David Simonds-wow i told him about our plans to redshirt him and at that point he was considering me when i had only spent 900$ on him then all the sudden he hates me, he rejects all my hv's and cv's and i try to have him consider me again spending over 5K trying and to no avail i ended up telling him we wouldn't redshirt him and then he immediately signed.  He should be a great Center with some inside and outside game, i reeeaalllyyy wanted to redshirt him because he has soooo many high and average attributes

LA GRANGE PANTHERS

In coach patsrule755 4th season and 4th go on the recruiting trail coach comes up with what could be his best recruiting class left with what could be some future stars and a established transfer to help them out this season.

Howard balzer- this SR transfer from murry state will be expected to start this season and bring a much needed 3 point threat after losing there top 2 three point threats from last season.

John young- 6'10 PF John young has a ton of upside for la grange but because of his low WE it will take him a little longer to develop then expected but once he does he should be a good contruibter to the team.

Clarence zarin- 6'7 center Clarence zarin is a center that is already ready to play solid big man mins of the bench and eventually once he fully develops he could turn out to be a stud big man for la grange.

Richard Timothy- 6'1 PG Richard is a guy that will take Time to develop but once he does he could turn out to be a stud SG for la grange so he is a great pick up and much will be expected of him in a few seasons.

Toby byrom- 6'1 PG Toby is a low we with a ton of potiential and could be a good guard but because of his low we he will need to take a redshirt if he wants to reach his potiential.
