Buck may have just cost his team the game. Doesn't call for the bunt with Markakis in an obvious bunting situation, that would have ended up plating the tying run. How such a good manager can so stubbornly refuse to play smallball when it's needed is just baffling.

Great season for Baltimore.  I'm a DC area resident, from Boston originally, no particular affinity for the O's or the city of Baltimore.  But it's a great park, great fan base, great baseball history...I am happy for their success this season.

Kansas City is on an historically great run, and props to them for that.  They are exciting to watch.  But if they somehow win it all, they might qualify as the least impressive World Series winner of my lifetime.  (A title currently held by a 3-way tie among the 85 Royals, 87 Twins, and 88 Dodgers.)

Maybe this will serve as a wakeup call to the front office that you actually need components to an offense beyond the HR.
