Great idea, Brad. Thanks for getting this started.
The Saluki dogs recruited 2 transfers this season. Both know the offense and defense. The plan is for them to add depth and play sparingly. To rectify my atrocious balance of classes I sought out juniors specifically, since I had none under scholarship. Of my 4 upperclassmen, only one will play serious minutes--that's the aforementioned Gary.
Juco transfer Anthony Williams, a balls-to-the-wall competitor with a 3.8gpa, will play a lot early in the season. He'll provide good support at the point, especially against he press. As the season progresses, sharpshooting frosh PG Phillip Reinhold (#88) will begin to take his minutes.
Our third recuit is Bobby Eicher, an Ohio State Buckeye transfer who will provide versatility and depth at the 3 and the 4.
And finally, the Salukis welcome non-qualifier Robert Fuller to the hardwood. Fuller will garner significant minutes and intends to make Cameron Tone his bizatch for the next four seasons.
