Season 54 will commence the greatest challenge in the long storied history of HD . The Horizon league begins a never ending battle with the Mountain West conference in the quest to be the true dominate Mid Major Conference!

Results from the first ever Horizon vs. Mountain West Conference challenge is in the books. The dominate winner in the first edition was the The Mountain West Conference with an impressive record of 5-2 in the match-up. Results for the 2nd annual Horizon v. Mountain West Conference challenge is in the books. The winner for the second straight year is the Mountain West Conference with a record of 4-2 this year! The results are in from the Third annual MWC v. Horizon challenge, with the MWC was absolutely dominate in a 5-1 showing. The results are as follows:
