Yeah I'm pretty fearful for the 2nd half of the season. I do have good backups who come in late with the lead.

That would be one of my concerns.  Bere had a 9 game stretch with 3 negative plays and an error.    That would scare me a little in a 5 game series.

I acquired JoeSchneider.  He is a pretty good (or better) defensive catcher and he rips LHP. (Last 6 years his vL OPS has been  .942-1.032- .954-1.150-1.028- .919 in Ottawa's neutral park).  So he's getting all my vL starts.  That means catcher ClaytonRollins, three-time defending Silver Slugger Award winner and career.312-.388-.481 hitter, is going to be playing RF when we face lefties.  8-28-63-61-51 means he has the arm to play.  Hope that arm drives RF fielding for a guy like Rollins.

Had to find a spot to get this bat into my lineup  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Les Walker.  So I put him in RF for 25 games.


He'll mostly rotate at DH/C with  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Desi Alfonseca and  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Moose Payne, who led the AL in hitting this season.

I'll take a poor play every 4 or 5 games, to get the numbers he put up.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Frank Howell is in Memphis which is an extreme pitcher's park.  First time I've tried it in a park like that.

Yeah, he's only 60 off the average of my other RF.   111 seems so low but I think might be park/pitching effect because 170 is very low.

Both are about where I'd expect them to be based on previous numbers but Simpson is seeing less playing time because he has an OPS of .609 in 75 AB.    Howell is now my full-time RF as he's #3 on my team in hitting.

What would there be to complain about?   The C turned RF is weaker in the field.   It's just the level of acceptablity that's in question.   Can you afford to give up 40-70 outs in RF for increased production at the plate?  How much production do you need to give up those outs?  It's no different than playing a giant 3B bat at SS.

You are speaking too logical.
Im talking about complaints like:
'that never happens in mlb, in mlb if there was a rightfielder rated with a 6 out of 100 in range, there would be a lot more balls hit at him compared to a rf with a range of 40'
