Of course if you ask people how they were doing 3 years into Bush they probably remember things were going well.

And of course since the crash at the end of his administration was based on things that were not directly caused by his administration you would have a hard time bashing him on the economy at all.

What the left needs to do is keep mentioning Bush. The history re-write that the pop culture did now declares him a bad president.

That way Obama can run against Bush again, and not have to mention his actual failures!

If you are going to give Bush a pass on the crash, you need to give Obama a pass on the slow recovery.

The difference is that through analysis we can say that the policies of the Bush adminstration didnt cause the crash.

We can also say that the policies of the Obama administration are causing the slow recovery.

This isnt about even steven, this is about a calm and logical analysis of the situation.

We can also say the sky is pink, but that doesn't make it true.

Of course the left will tell you that if you "feel" that the sky is pink than no one should be able to tell you any different.

The right will say that the sky really is pink and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is a biased liberal who hates jesus.

My point was directed at an actual belief of the left.

Your response was just a claim that Conservatives lie.
