This League will have a 110 mil cap. Each player will pick a player (exclsuive) -- from 2012 ( ie: 2012 Johnathan Papelbon, 2012 Derek Jeter , etc.) based on entering the league ( when all 24 spots are filled) -- we will then have what I call a rapid draft process ( each owner will submit a list of 12 names) -- if no one claims a player you want he is then your's -- if someone claims that player he is then blacklisted. If you need less then 12 players to fill the first part of your roster then you will submit that amonut of players to fill out the 2012 portion of your roster ( when you have 13 players -- you are done with the 2012 portion). The other 12 roster  roster spots can be anyone from WIS years 1915 to 1980. NO WW, NO DH, NO CLONES, NO AAA , but TRADES are IN. All Player salaries will be under 10 mil per player.

so the 8 other players could be monster superstars?  could we see 20 Babe Ruth's?

do you want to put a salary limit on those 8?   I could see some teams having their main huge salary players be those 8 with just scrubs from the 2012 team to fill out the other 17 as role players.

dn --- (you make a valid point ) but what can we all agree on for the cap on those 8 salaries or do we put a cap on the highest salary of any one player (ie: no player salaries over say 12 mil ???? ) -- need some votes here.

I was trying to get 20 teams  --- would like a 24 team league if possible ?????
