Kinda of a wierd question, but on the play by play description of plays run during a game, what would you consider the distance on a sideline route. For example, sometimes a description may be : Edward Keys completes a pass right sideline to Donald Caldwell for 28 yards (Dan Maxwell). Does this mean short right behind line of scrimmage, short medium, deep? When there is a short pass the description will say short right, short middle, etc. And on deep routes it may say deep middle, etc. Any opinions...just curious thx?
