I personally believe that, at the higher levels, kicker ratings are irrelevant - it only matters that you have a kicker or punter in the slot. I've had walkons at Northwestern in Heisman for the last five seasons, and not very good walkons at that - and yet the kicking results are surprisingly good.

The first walkon made 198 straight PATs before missing and made 78% of his FGs up to 52 yards, and the current walkon (with Str/T of 39/59) made two 45+ yard FGs to win games in his freshman season. At lower levels, it is not the same, but at DIA ratings don't matter.
