These are the five leagues that we'll be using this time (I believe this is the first time there hasn't been an albatross league).
$40m - Semi-OL
Semi-Open League:
No AAA. All other OL rules apply.
$50m - Exclusive Player+Ballpark
In a two round draft snake owners will select either an exclusive ballpark or an exclusive player in each round.
No WW, AAA, trades, clones, or live.
Injuries on.
Must use your exclusive player and ballpark
Team name must include your exclusive player and park (I.e., Ruth's Busch or Hack Chugs a Coors, etc).
$60m - Power+Speed
All teams must draft at least 150 RL HRs and at least 150 RL SBs from their hitters.
No pitcher can have an a HR/9 lower than 0.25.
No player can have an arm rated A- or higher (no A-, A, or A+).
No WW, AAA, trades, clones, live.
Random alignment
Injuries and DH on.
$70m - Franchise Twist
Pick any single season franchise and twist as many as you'd like. All players rostered must have played at least one game for the team/season chosen. Must use ballpark for team/season chosen (if ballpark not available in WIS, then use WIS Park).
Alignment random.
No clones, AAA, DH, trades, WW, live.
Injuries on.
Team name must include your franchise name and season (i.e., '73 Royals or 1973 Kansas City, etc).
Variable Cap
In this league, the fewer PAs and Fewer IPs you take, the more cash you get for salary. The baseline in $40M for 6000 PAs and 1500IP. For every PA less than 6000, you get $25K more in cap. For every IP less than 1500, you get $100K more in cap. The table below illustrates how this works.
No clones, DH, AAA, trades or WW.
Alignment will be random.
Injuries will be on.
The above calculations and chart below is based on PA/162 and IP/162, not straight PA and IP. The exact equation for salary cap is below:
Cap = (340,000,000 - (25,000 * [PA/162]) - (100,000 * [IP/162]))
*I figure most teams will be in the $75-85m range, but there will be a handful who will likely trend towards both extremes...
