We are entereing our 21st season as the Post War League and have an opening for the Houston Astros franchise. We have 16 teams in our league and play 4 divisions.....We are preparing for the 1966 draft.....Dodger Stadium is open if you wanted to move the franchise there....
We do not lock in our draft slots until the end of the regular season, but the Astros are currently 41-113 and running for the 2nd or 3rd position in the upcoming draft.
We draft out a 25 man roster, then we draft 4 players in a AAA draft. We have an unlimited DL for players who are missing season in the middle of their career....the Astos current contol 30 players, 3 are retiring.....here are the remaining 27....

You may cut as many as you like....If you keep 20 you get 5 picks in the upcoming draft, if you keep 19 you get 6 picks. etc. The AAA draft will not begin until all 16 teams drafted to their full 25 man rosters....The 4 AAA players you draft can be called up and kept down on the farm, and can be kept for future season just like any other player on your roster.....
This team returns no catchers and that position must be addressed, McDowell and Tiant give 2 ace pitchers but obviously this team needs to rebuild.....if you are interested in joining our league you can post here or sitmail me, any questions just ask.....
