GRANT IS THE WORST ON YOUR LIST.  SOMEHOW HE MADE CRESTY'S "BEST OF" LIST.  CRESTY DOESN'T KNOW MUCH HISTORY.

Did a good job with the war, though.  Not so much tactically, but strategically he and Sherman were the only Union generals who seemed to understand they had better than a 2:1 numerical advantage and casualty numbers didn't really hurt them.

IF LINCOLD HAD APPOINTED HIM FIRST INSTEAD OF MCCLELLAN TWICE, MEADE, HOOKER, BURNSIDE,ETC  HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS WOULD OF LIVED.

GRANT SURROUNDED HIMSLF WITH LOUTS AS PRESIDENT

SI.  AND HE DRANK TOO MUCH.

I have to go with FDR.

Obama is a horrible President, but FDR created the whole idea of "Nanny state Socialism". He set up the programs that are destroying us today.

Foreign Policy is a clear edge over Obama.
