i was trying to make a trade with a team that has a player with a no trade clause but the player declined the trade. is it possible the player could change his mind? the coach of the other team thinks it is because he has more wins than i do is that true?

More wins, or more accurately, higher in waiver wire order (to account for the beginning of the season before games are played)

So if it's during the season, he might be more willing to accept a trade to a team with more wins (better playoff chance)? If so does it matter how many game in? like 1 team is 1-0 and the other is 0-1? Or more realistically like 40 games in?
