Formation IQ? Topic

Is formation IQ active? I was trying to remember and thought at one time norbert said it was not working as intended and they turned it off. Maybe I am confusing that with something else? Just want confirmation that all this time I am spending on formation practice is worthwhile right now while we wait for GD3.0.

It is ACTIVE.

I do practice formations and i think most do.  However, the impact is not significant.  Its just another one of the many small factors that impact the performance of your team.

Which QB to start?
A. Tech 75  GI  70   Str  50   Formations are in mid to high teens
B. Tech 70  GI  65   Str  52   Formations are in mid to high 30s

All other attributes are pretty equal. I am leaning towards A.

Definitely Player A.  The TECH and GI advantage of player A is far greater than the FIQ advantage of player B.

The way FIQ was explained was that 0 would be -5% and 100 would be +5%. At 50 there is no IQ influence. Since most players are in the 30 - 50 range the overall impact is only 1 - 2 % between players at the most.

So I wonder then how much is it really affecting games? Is it really worth it at this time to practice formations? Has anyone not done any formation practice but still seen an increase in ratings due to playing in games?
