every time i offer a contract to a minor league player, i get the message shown below. i have offered no bonus, just 1-year contracts. any ideas?

Error: A minor league contract will default to 1 year for the player's minimum required salary. No bonuses are acceptable.

Did you include any amount of salary in the offer? It has been a while, but I think for minor league players you just leave the salary field blank and offer a contract.
