I know it is a highly meaningless thing but I always like looking through it each year and get amped when one of my recruits gets drafted, only ever had one go 1st round but it was a recruit I got at Eastern Michigan.

Which brings me to my question. How is the draft part set up?  Is it overall rating? Stats in the previous season? Career stats?  What is the primary factor?   

Additionally, I am seeing each draft must be independent of the previous correct?  I went through the New York Jets draft picks over the past 4 seasons in Stagg and they took 3 QBs, 10 OL, and only a 6th round RB over that time for example.  


Just curious if it is completely random or if there is real logic to it all I guess.
