The way the rules are setup, it is possible to draw all 3 teams from the same year.  That might make for some pretty unbalanced competition since there is no twisting.  Am I reading that correctly?

Yes. We'll try it this way and if I run another season, which I'm hoping to keep this going for multiple seasons, we can change it so that doesn't happen.

why don't you do the drawing one team at a time and make sure no one gets 3 teams in the same season.

If that is what everyone wants I'm willing to oblige. I'm still going to wait until the league fills though before I do any random draws.

Three teams from 1901 might be hard ......... but sign me up ..... maybe some day I'll get a lucky team.

The most equitable would be grouping them by winning percentage into 3 tiers (top, middle, bottom).  Then randomly assign everyone a team from each tier.

As long as you realize they are 2 different leagues. This one is not a progressive.

I didn't, but what the heck, if you get both up and running, I'll do both. I think it's a great idea for a progressive.

why not pick random so people can work on their teams and stay interested?   just an idea.
