After further review, I've decided not to claim the Freehan-Manush combo. I'll keep looking at options, but for now count me out.

If somebody is thinking about joining, might I suggest Jack Clark-Tony Perez.

I almost used that pair. My problem is that half my team was high average, doubles/triples hitters and the other half of my team were home run hitters. I couldn't settle on a draft strategy or ballpark for that team.

Quick Question: Based on the theme description, it doesn't specify that the Snub/HOFer must actually be on the team (which is fine with me).

Is this OK?

It should be your snub, hall of famer, and teammates. I'll update the wording so it is  more clear.

Also I don't think you should cut it off at 35 WAR.  There are some good combos such as:
  • Roy Campanella-Ken Griffey Sr
  • Bill Mazeroski-Brady Anderson
  • Chick Hafey-Andres Galarraga
  • George Kell-Gary Maddox
  • Pie Traynor/Miller Huggins-Frank Howard
  • Rick Ferrell-Phil Garner
  • Ray Schalk-Davey Johnson
  • Monte Irvin-Howard Johnson
  • Billy Southworth-Bret Boone
  • Ned Hanlon-Joe Carter
This could help fill the league along with some new combos that will be available on Wednesday after the 2013 ballot results are announced.  Possibly a Kenny Lofton-Ryne Sandberg combo!

I'm so sorry! I had so many posts that day. Yours must have fallen through the cracks. But thank you for joining up. Skean, you are welcome to join too. But Boog Powell's nearest HOF partner is George Kell (35 WAR to 34.5 WAR). I can put you down for those two or you can select again.

Christmas team!

I will take a shot with Ron Cey (50.1) and Joe Tinker (50.1).
dodgebob:  Looks like you missed my entry as well.  Hope I can still play, the team looks pretty competitive.

Sorry, tdoak. I'll make sure to get you down.

Also I'm sitemailing midknight. I totally spaced and forgot that Dick Allen is not eligible for this league.
