May I suggest you only use a narrower range of ages and allow 2 uses of the same age?  There's no way 19 or 42, or for that matter anything under MAYBE 23 or 24, or above MAYBE 37 or 38, has any hope of being competitive.  Maybe you can field a full roster of 42-year-olds or 19-year-olds, but they'll win 40 games if they're lucky.

Also, a LOT more transparency with how players will be chosen would be helpful.  Just saying "you get 20 hitters and 10 pitchers who led in some stats that I'm not going to reveal" isn't very informative.
