Doubtful. The Braves have a surplus of young starting pitching, Hanson is looking like he might be damaged goods (he's sucked since the middle of last year and his velocity has been in steady decline) and he hits arbitration this year so they were going to actually have to start paying him. Maybe they could have gotten more for him, but I don't see them missing him in any significant way.
