Select a player season to be your captain. Use his homefield from that season and twist any of his teammates using baseball-reference roster. For following season, pick one of his 24 teammates and use that player season to be your next capt. You cant use specific player season from prior seasons again on your roster, but can twist a former capt.

this league is for owners who like the challenge of building a team from season to season. would love to attract owners who want to spend more than one season with a good group. however, if you want to just test the waters, thats cool too!

the premise... 1st upon signing up choose a player and a specific season
ex. 1978 Jim Rice

2nd use that player and the stadium they called home.
ex. 78 Rice must be on roster & his home stadium for that season Fenway

3rd you can use any of his teammates from the 1978 season and twist them! this is a DH league with a $100mil cap.

4th enter the team with the 25 man roster and enjoy the season after random relaignment takes place.

When the season ends, you will select another player your 25 man roster. use that player season to to serve as the catalyst/captain for the upcoming season. using previos example...on your 78 rice team you might have had 1990 eckersley, 1967 Yaz, 1975 Lynn...you can twist 1990 A's with Eck, 1967 Red Sox with Yaz or 75 Sox with Lynn...if you got he 1975 route you can use twist Jim Rice however his 1978 season is off limits to you!

if your captain played for two teams in the season you selected him you must choose one team and his teammates from that team to twist. also a player can be selected as a captain by yourself again BUT not the same player season you used before and not for consecutive seasons obviously

I picked Willie McGee '85. Let's say I twist Terry Pendleton to his '91 season in year 1.

Then in year 2, let's say I pick Ozzie '86 so I am twisting the '86 Cardinals. Pendleton plays for the '86 Cards. So can I twist him to 1991 again or not?

just the captains year. i would never be able to police all the others, so yes you can use the pendleton season over again.
