Clemente needs 1 new owner Topic

Clemente, one of the oldest and best (drama-free) private worlds is looking for 3 new owners for next season.  We have no world-specific rules to worry about--just classic HBD.  We've just rolled over and are looking for new owners asap so we can get started.  Sitemail me if you're interested.  And if you're new to HBD, that's fine...I can tutor you for a while to get you on your feet.

Open Franchises:

Pittsburgh (NL East - 79-83) - Owner eastonest really turned this team around the past two seasons but is departing due to taking on too many HBD teams at once.  A combination of solid farm system and young ML talent should make this an attractive job.

Pawtucket (AL East - 73-89) - Prior to the past season this franchise had great stability with only two owners in the first 24 seasons, but wylie isn't returning after his first season due to financial reasons.  The bad news is this team has been bad for a long time (73 wins the past season were the most in 8 seasons).  The good news is this team has been bad for a long time (read: you can't help but accumulate a decent farm system that way).

Madison (AL North - 59-103) - This team had been good for 4 years prior to this past season, including a WS appearance, but fell on hard times this past season when its owner left midseason in a noble whatifsports retirement (Hurricane Sandy Aid). The interim owner doesn't want to return after a rough season, so we're looking for someone to pick up where amberjack left off.

Fresno (NL West - 62-100) - For the past eleven years ballgame326 has kept this team in contention, though never winning a playoff series.  They've kind of hung around until the past year when they were pretty bad.  It could be that ballgame just quit on them because there's been no word from him about departing.  If I were taking this team over I'd probably opt for a total rebuild, but there are certainly some pieces in place if you want to try to win now.

Trenton (AL North - 75-87) - After 18 years and moderate success, our former commish, jying, departed this franchise 5 seasons ago.  Ever since it's been a revolving door for new owners each season.  We don't have too many teams like that in Clemente, so it would be great to get a dependable coach take this one over.  With only THREE players on the roster currently signed to a contract over the minimum, this one should be a great clean slate for someone looking to build up their own dynasty.

I'm leaving, but this is a good league and I think the Pawtucket team has some promising prospects on the farm.

Fantastic league, almost no drama whatsoever in 25 seasons.

I'm interested in the final team if it is still open. Trying to make my comeback to HBD and looking for a solid world. Thanks!
