We need one new member to take over the California Angels for the 1981 Season. Their roster is below. Basically for the Team Icon League you can only draft players that played for your team at some point in their career. Any player who played for your team only you get without having to draft them. Any player who started with your team and played for 10+ seasons for your team and played for three or less full seasons with other teams is also yours without drafting them. Mike Witt is an example of this for the 1981 Angels. He played 1981-1990 with the Angels and only 1991-1992 for the Yankees. The Angels pick 6th in the 1981 Rookie Draft.

So we need one more as iudane has gone AWOL. You can have either the Athletics or the Angels (I'll run the other one.) If we get two new owners that's fine too. The Angels are currently up in the draft and have all but Fernando Valenzuela available to draft (He went #1 to the Dodgers.)

No 1980s Halos fans out there? You get Mark Witten for free and since they are up in the draft now they have their choice of Tim Wallach or Lee Smith among others. Not a bad deal. This is a pretty solid team.

I'll bump the thread and vouch for the league - the added element of using only players that played for your franchise adds a level of familiarity to real teams you enjoyed watching. Crazyjoe's a good commish - he's been doing this for a long time.
