Innings for $60M league? Topic

It's been a while since I have participated in a low cap league. I'm building a team for a $60M cap/no AAA league. Right now I'm sitting at 1198 IP. Is that enough for this league? I can probably more 20-30 more, but I like my pitching staff as currently constituted.

I'd draft at least 1300. you'll need about 1350 if you want to keep everybody at 100%. can get by with less depending on how much fatigue you want to deal with. at 1198 ip your whole staff will be pitching in the 80s.

I usually draft around 1,225-1,250. I'm ok with my guys going down to 90% and I generously use a mop up.

I would draft at least 1250 if you're in a pitcher friendly park.  What park are you using?

Lots of variables here? But the NO aaa info is big.

I usually count on a solid(ish)  LongB guy to eat up the random innings/and a  start or 4?  (and use up his WIS allowed 10% +  for sure, because he won't be a factor in the playoffs if his ip is over-used well). IMO a low oav is better than bb/9 at this cap for this type of role..

A lhs is a solid investment for sure at @500k for 30ip.
Even a decent rhs is available in the same $ range(45ip) if the roster spot is available.
Closers are abundant when you draft 2 guys at @800k each totalling 75ip.

Agree w/ J4me @the 1250.

I am not the guru-type that alot of my brethren are, but at 60mil; the roster requires alot of massaging. And I have had "decent" success staff-wise w/ this type of specialist roles.

Caveat: Usually I enter a Franchise themed offering......
