Can someone tell me why my defense switch to +4 when I had it set for +2?
It still set to +2 now

when I checked the stats of my playoof game i see  my defense changed from a +2 to +4 but don't understand why?
I believe that cost me the game

Do you have the halftime adjustment set to change if losing on the team game plan page?  The other team took 13 of its 27 shots from behind the arc.  Set it to never adjust if you want it to stay the way you set it.

The most the engine will adjust your settings is +/- 2.  So, the engine switched from +2 to +4 because of the amount of threes.
