CCIW has had some good seasons in the recent past, but we've lost a couple of coaches and there are some holes to fill, now.
We're an active conference, always happy to lend advice or encouragement. Sometimes it feels like we're sitting in a sports bar talking over beers, it's that relaxed.
This past season, we got 2 teams into the Sweet 16. One was my Martin Luther squad but the other was Elmhurst (24-7) which is a sim-coached team. Elmhurst loses 5 seniors but if the sim can do it there, surely a human coach can put together a winner.
Aside from Elmhurst there are 5 other schools open as job bids open in a few days (tonight is our NC game). Ideally located in the Illinois-Wisconsin area, CCIW is sitting on top of a wealth of recruiting talent just waiting for new coaches to try their hand.
