Gentle Reader,

Schmidt is a day or two away from needing a replacement owner for a decent team that has been sadly neglected.  Not damaged, just neglected - lineups and pitching left unset.  Good, young positional and pitching talent, no bad contracts, and currently leads the ML division.  

The team also has a high draft pick and lots and lots of cash for pursuing prospects.  The negligent owner left the franchise well-positioned for aggressive, immediate rebuilding.

Over 90% of the season remains. 

We would prefer a veteran owner who will consider sticking around past this season.  Also, please note the following stated priorities in World Schmidt:

1. Good humor and fun.
2. Healthy competition.
3. No no drama. (You don't want no drama...)
