Draft Prospect Going Back to college Topic

So i have a high draft pick that decided after considering my offer to go back to college.

He has refused to sign as a result.  I didn't not change anything and noticed that I have that money that i put out for him to sign available again.  

Will i still get Type D compensation next year or do I have to put that money back toward that player?


Any help would be appreciated.

Prospect
As long as you met his initial demand and he has rejected it, you will get your type D pick next season.

You can now spend that prospect money elsewhere.
