Back in 1994, when they cancelled the World Series, MLB contracted down to the Original 16 Franchises, and all players became Free Agents (or did you miss that?.....). Thus the Modern era Original Franchise Organization was born. Now entering our 13th Season!
MOFO 2011 needs an owner to take over the Cincinnati Reds franchise from an owner who's not returning. It looks like Cincinnati will draft 12th in the first round and all subsequent rounds.
We are a 16 team league entering its 13th season (2011). We use a DH and we draft up to 4 AAA players. Any of the 25 + 4 players can be kept into the following season (max 25). Teams usually draft 2-4 players each year.
There is a plan once we catch up to the current season (probably by 2014) that the following season we'll start to draft 1981 players (the previous work stoppage) though any current player can remain a keeper until they retire or get dropped.
