A Trade that includes $5.0M in cash Topic

When you recieve $5.0M in cash from a trade, does your budget for the next season increase as a result?? (Example: Got $5.0M in a trade for Season 1; When trade is complete Season 2 budget increased by $4M because it should be 80% of Season 1's budget).

No.

The $5m increases your overall cap from $185m to $190m (and likewise, reduces the other team's cap from $185m to $180m.)
Current season only.
It should be noted that cash in trades is the source of all evil in HBD, and anyone asking for that should be donkey punched.

You're opening up a can of worms with that statement.

Payroll, budget and budgeted payroll aren't the same thing.   Too many are speaking of it like it is.
