New release- relief pitcher selection glitch? Topic

In a recent game, I took 1 run lead into the eighth inning. Although all my setup men and closers were available and at 100 percent, Sparky put in my mop up who promptly blew the save. I have my managerial setting set to "use mop up only when losing". Why did Sparky do this? Could it be glitch in the latest release? Here is what the release.notes say about it: "Improved relief pitcher selection for tie games in 7th or later when closer should not enter, manager now looks at specialists before setup pitchers. Previously, specialists were being looked at after setup pitchers in this situation."
Has anyone else experienced problems with Sparky's relief pitcher selection?

It was mlb103349 the first pm game between the 1909 pirates and 2011 Yankees, jan. 25. I'll search through the forum for those other posts. I can't see a reason for it, but perhaps there is a rational explanation. I had a few setup men ready to go, and my closer is set so he can come in during the 8th.

Ok, I found the relevant post here: http://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?topicID=452075&page=1

The problem must have been that all my relievers were at 94 percent prior to the game, and therefore unavailable due to my auto rest setting. When I went back to check on them after the game, they were all back at 100 percent because they had rested during while the mop up was blowing the game.

or allow your SPs to be used in relief... or lower your autorest to 90... anything is better than letting your mop up pitch in but the rarest of cases...

Thanks. I'll tinker with my settings to give my bullpen a break.
