1st baseman in RF? Topic

Has anyone ever tried this? If so, is it that much of a defensive liability? Thanks.

Refer to this thread about right fielders in HBD.

Without going back and rereading the entire thread, I believe the findings were that range was a negligible issue for the position.  But if you're going to play an "out of position" player in RF, you might be better off putting a catcher in RF because he will have something closer to the recs for arm strength and accuracy than would a typical first baseman.
