Can you recruit players from a division above? Like if you are a D3 school is there any chance a D2 recruit would sign? Thanks

Technically you can, but you WILL NOT sign any players that are outside of your vision.  Dont waste your time or money.

At DIII there is no or VERY little overlap with DII... if your a HD coach there are no such things as "pull downs" in GD. So when you do a recruiting search and you see a recruit under DIII but you see DII schools on him that means he is a borderline player, but again this is quite rare for DIII to DII. It is most obvious at DIAA and DIA levels

Never seen overlap with D-3 and D-2, I've seen overlap of D-2 and D-1aa and most predominantly D1AA to D-1
