ROCKHURST HIRES NEW COACH

Kansas City, MO- Well, all you Hawkeye fans, we have a leak. And the leak says that the Hawks are close to hiring a new basketball coach for next season, and he will hit the recruiting trail immediately.

According to our sources, former Alaska, Anchorage coach Caesari is closing in on a deal to become the head coach. He, after one year at D3 Western Connecticut State, as well as a year in Alaska, will be looking to improve on his history as a coach after being out of the game for a couple seasons.

Sources say he has been offered a 2 year contract to start with the school, as well as options for up to 5 years on top of that.

Caesari has not responded to our calls, although he released a statement yesterday confirming he was "speculating and weighing his options as far as returning [to coaching], and have not made a decision at this time." He also is listed as a possible contender for the North Florida, Pfeiffer, and Chaminade jobs.

We will keep you updated on all developments to this story.

ROCKHURST MAKES IT OFFICIAL- CAESARI HELMS THE HAWKS

Kansas City, MO- It is official. After much speculation, (relatively, considering this is a D2 school and who really cares about a D2 school, I mean seriously. They are the redheaded step child of D1, so I don't even want to get in to where you'd but D3, but D2 is, like, a level below D1) Caesari, former Alaska, Anchorage coach, will helm the Hawks for next season. In the public statement, Rockhurst said:

"We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Coach Caesari as the head basketball coach for our men's program. We have high expectations, and we believe Caesari is the man that can get it done."

In an interesting turn of events, former Head Coach Sim AI, fired in disgrace because he was a tard, attempted to crash the welcome ceremony by poisoning the coffee machine. Luckily, a replacement was furnished from the teacher's lounge and nothing came of it.
