I was looking for a challenge, so I decided to revive ANOTHER old theme.
Pick a year, any year, from 1930 to present. ALL of your players must be from that year. No exception for back ups.
To make multiple strategies possible, I'm effectively banning deadball pitchers by making the years 1930 to present day.
Divisions will be aligned by year, earliest in NL East, Latest in AL West. Tie breakers for division breaks will be alpha sort of owner name.
- No DH. No WW. No trading. No live play Clones should not be possible, but we'll ban them anyway.
- 6/2 below average AAA to help you a bit. We'll use real names, they will NOT be restricted to your year.
- No stadium restrictions
- $80m
That's it. Simple in concept, but like all of my themes, you will be using different players than you're used to seeing. Half of the strategy is picking a good year, then you'll be building your team.
Multiple people selecting the same year is possible. There is no need to declare your year.
