I think it would be helpful to incorporate the separations of positions as in 2.0, i.e. RB-FB, DT-DE, ILB-OLB, and CB-S throughout the game.  I was using player settings for fatigue and had to remember where I had guys playing by memory or had to write it down (beside knowing who was starting (starting at which position).  It is easier to know who is at ILB than LB2.
