I think the game is great as is...I'm 29 and I feel like in general, the more "improvements" that are made to a game, the worse it gets. My favorite Madden is 2005, my favorite NCAA Football is 2004, my favorite basketball game is NBA 2K5, my favorite baseball and hockey games are SNES titles and my favorite soccer game is FIFA 2006.
Obviously these aren't directly related to WIS and/or "text" games, however the basic principles hold true...you can't turn games into overly-complex, pseudo-annoying rubix cubes, just because people are "clamoring" for change(s) and/or you're trying to add a new feature to push "next year's" game/product.
And not to bash Scott too much here, I don't necessarily trust in him making game engine/situation changes because I guess I feel like he's more likely to screw something up as oppose to improving a presumed flaw...part of this statement is fueled by my love of HD as is, but part of it is also staked on me seeing him make Michael Jackson's face out of the NBA sim...
