I think I have a very good DIII recruiting class.   I think this is NT title contender material.    Any thoughts?  Weaknesses?

I see Mettler as my PG and three shooter.
Bartlett and Baden will be the 2 and 3, baden can score with a -2 setting, Bartlett will probably be set at 0 or +1.
Bayless and McCormick will be secondary scorers at the 4 and 5.

Bartlet is HIHI.   I don't know Mettler's.

I think it might be one of the worst classes I have ever seen in HD at any level possibly only surpassed by some of your most recent classes at Rutgers (if you had any clue what you were doing you would be in the Top 3!) I think we are now all worse at HD for having seen this class. You will not receive any credit and may God have mercy on your soul. :)



All kidding aside, I think that is a fantastic class for DIII and if you can hit some high-highs in the right areas (specifically reb for both Cs & per on 1 or both of those guards) then you are looking at the foundation for a great next 4 years. Just remember, your most important class is always the next one!

Very good class. And I would expect them to be the core players of a championship contending team by the time they are seniors, if not sooner.

One big is a little low on Ath for my liking, but that's getting real nit-picky.  Obviously his def and reb ratings will help quite a bit and very worthwhile player.  Guards are fantastic.  Per is an issue, but sounds like at least one guard will be quite high in Per when it's all said and done.

Not sure if this is a nation champ/title contender... depends on other classes around it IMO.  I think M2M usually needs about 8-10 deep to be successful.  I'd look for a big with a LP that will end up in the 70s or 80s with higher Ath and maybe an SF that can score or rebound some to round things off.  another guard similar to those will make for great team.
