Since I can't seem to generate ANY consistent offense in more traditional gameplans, and had noticed that my QB usually scrambles for almost 100 ypg. in those gameplans, I decided to try a shotgun, always run, QB only offense.  I've simmed about 50 test games and had one exhibition game running this offense.  In test games, my QBs are averaging roughly 420 yards rushing per game and out of 50 test games, though I haven't kept specific numbers, I'd say I've only lost maybe 5 times.
In the one exhibition game, I won 29-3 running this offense only.  Here are the QB's stat line for that game and also his attributes:
Player Pos Rush Yds Avg TD 20+ Lg St
Steven Williams QB 73 491 6.7 3 2 41 10

Name Year Pos Starter A SPD D WE ST STR BLK TKL H GI E T TOT
Robert Crum So. QB   60 10 27 46 48 17 20 10 39 42 33 49 401
Steven Williams Sr. QB   49 44 34 50 42 34 32 31 45 44 43 50 498

I've tried everything running with my RBs and can rarely get them over 100 ypg.

Having the same results with a running QB out of shotgun. I think the QB is getting too much ydg., but I don't believe they get enough ydg. in 2.0.

Agreed on both points.  Tried my backup for some test games today... not quite the yardage of my starter, but still, between the two of them, they managed to routinely pile up over 400 yards rushing. Also tried to mix some QB running in with a normal game plan.  Just simmed a handful of games, but he still rushed for almost 200 yards per game and my RB struggles to get 100.

QB rushing is way too high right now.....it seems like everyone has a Kaepernick career day for each game!

My QB is doing it too.  It's fun, but not very realistic.

Well I would assume the qb is rushing against a dime? Test against your own team and set a 52 against the shotgun.

Tested it against a 5-2 set to all run.  Limited his rushing numbers down significantly, but he was still around 150...  Then...  plugged in a 4-3 set to 100% run.  4-3 routinely kept him just over 100.  I would have assumed 52 would have been better than 43.

Then for fun, I kept that 52 100% run d in against a Shotgun 100% pass deep.  There was a disparity as hoped, but not sure it should be quite that big... in the first game simmed, both teams scored over 200 points EACH and threw for just over 2000 yards each.  The average was scores in the mid-100's for each team and yardage around 1400.  Even with completely polar settings, I'm not sure it's realistic to be tossing over 2000 yards per game.

Someone needs to look at this ... 400 points and 3000 passing yards in one game is not going to cut it, no matter what the settings.

My QB is running between averaging 8 carries a game and probably 80 yards while running the I-formation, trips, and wishbone...NOT shotgun.

Weird.

I disagree, 5-2 100% run vs shotgun 100% deep pass would definitely produce those results. Think about it.
