Can't wait till Papi gets back.

Have really enjoyed watching these guys so far.  Clay and Lester have looked like 2 ace's out there so far through 3 starts.  I really think they really enjoy Farrell as their coach.  They had their best seasons when he was the PC.

The hitting has been sporadic, but has been timely.  Lots of quality ABs.  Getting the opposing pitchers pitch count high.  

I hope no one here went to today's game.

Longoria was safe after Drew made the diving stab & throw, ump missed it, tying run X'd out.  Sox fortunate.

I have them losing 4 more games than they did last year. Losing Shields hurts, but I'd expect Moore to take another step forward this year. Longoria for a full year helps. Escobar is probably an upgrade at SS. Jennings will likely have a better year than last year. They still have one of the better pitching staffs in baseball - I would be very surprised if they weren't a .500 team at minimum.

Honestly, I'm surprised people think Toronto is gonna take it.  You can buy talent, but not chemistry.  Didn't the Marlins prove that last year? 

I like Tampa but the Yanks are there too.  I like their arms

How you feeling about this now? And I'm honestly not trying to be a dick - I know it's still early, but I just don't see Tampa being all that competitive this season.

Eh.  Dude it's waaaaay too early for anything.  That said it looks like Tampa has a AA offense frankly.

I like the way Boston is playing.  I wouldn't be shocked if they followed up this start with an L5.

I had heard that Ortiz had let himself go in the off-season, but he looks in decent shape, I dunno.

And despite what Remy and the pundits at NESN were saying, don't get overexcited about Webster after 1 decent start.  His #'s in the minors are something to sneeze at
