I don't think "vastly".....its more about total wins over last 3 seasons

Total wins, including playoff success (playoff success and CCs also improve your prestige, making it easier to recruit those players already in your vision).

It's sort of the chicken and the egg, because you can't get a good win total without going deep into the playoffs. Also, NCs don't help anywhere near as much as you'd like to think...

I saw a major improvement in vision after an 11-3 season my first year. I didn't win the CC, but it allowed me to jump from 88 to 21 in the Guess rankings. Now in my second season we are 11-0 and #6. :)

Look at the recruits you can see before the conclusion of the job change period.  Then look again.  YATZR's tool is pretty essential for this process.
