I'm gonna wait till you pick the 7th.  Don't want the possibility of what I say to influence who you pick for your 7th since the draft is over.

Initial Impression:  Well, I had to use lesser versions of Cornbread & Camby to get enough minutes, but I was able to keep the versions of Nash, Admiral & Peja I wanted to use, so I consider the tradeoff okay.  I think I've got a great offense here and am solid enough in the possession game to be a competitive squad in contention for my division.

Shooting Struggle:  Huge efg% with a reasonable amount of ast% to pump it up.  Defensively - I'm strong up front but weak on the wing & in the back court.  Defense gets better with the bench in some spots, worse in others.  Despite that, I'd say that I'm fairly strong in the SS.

Possession Battle:  Peja's amazingly low tov% should help Nash's attrociously high tov%.  Admiral's kind of in between.  Cornbread does me no favors here.  Solid on both sides of the boards (SL is 39 & change on the oreb, 91 & change on the dreb).  I won't be forcing many turnovers.  I'm going to say the PB is a wash at best for me.

Foul Factor:  Admiral is my highest usage guy and is great at getting to the line.  Peja & Nash don't get there much but will give me a good percentage there (weee!).  Cornbread gets to the line a ton.  I've got an incredible inside/outside contrast going with Admiral/Cornbread underneath and Peja/Nash outside (plus some guys you don't see now on the bench lend to more).  I'm hoping that's enough to get over my really high fouling.  I'm gonna lose several games just because Cornbread & Admiral decide to foul out in sub-20 minutes, but here's to hoping that doesn't happen multiple times in a playoff series.

Conclusion:  Nash & Peja led my Mavericks team in the EOL (higher cap) to the best record in the league and the finals (losing to sly's miami team.  I'm overmatched there) despite their terrible defense.  I'll take the Admiral over the Matrix (who I'm using) for easier points up front... but man, cornbread & camby are NOT worm & chandler.  I don't have the confidence in this team that I normally do in an ODL, and it's completely my fault for going off my original plan, but I still think I've got a strong team here and feel like 50+ wins is not out of the question.

I'd love input, as I am squandering Larry Legend in the 52 and would not like to squander these guys!

Salary-screwed myself. Bench will be thiiiin at a hair under 19250 total.
Initial Impression:  Yeah, you definitely salary screwed yourself.  Definitely the WRONG Oscar, but since you're spending so much elsewhere, you really don't have a lot of wiggle room.  I also think that's the wrong Unseld.  Shoulda used the 54% efg oscar and not drafted 2 guards to back up.  If you do decide to go with two guys with $10m+ salaries, you really need to draft platoons elsewhere to make the salary work.  I really think Horace is a tad overrated (though I have used and won with him)... yeah, he gives you nice efg% & oreb%, but he's only a tier 5 player and only gives you 17% dreb... I think, for 2800 minutes, he's drafted way too high.

Shooting Struggle:  Can't go wrong with Kareem as your highest usage guy.  He's amazing.  Oscar hurts, though, with his average efg% and high usage.  He also lessens the positive from Terry.  Still, respectable shooting with good enough ast%.  Defense is alright but nothing to write home about.  Overall I'm gonna give you a wash on the SS simply because kareem is that good.

Possession Battle:  You'll get plenty of extra possessions with that high offensive rebounding, but your defensive rebounding seems a bit on the low side to me.  This is where a different Unseld would have come into play (or a different small forward).  It's not bad, just not strong.  Oscar is a turnover machine.  Kareem's kinda average. I don't see you forcing a whole lot of turnovers.  I think you have enough to be competitive in this facet but not dominant.

Foul Factor:  The only weakness of Kareem in my mind is his lack of getting to the line.  He looks like he has a lot of FTAs for the season you're using, but it's actually kind of low in terms of fta/poss.  Oscar is better, but his numbers are also inflated due to the pace of the era.  You don't have a strong inside/outside contrast to create tension in the defense and your main two guys foul a reasonably high amount.  I'm saying this is not a good thing for your team.

Conclusion:  This isn't your best ODL squad.  You might squeak above .500 and into the playoffs, but I doubt it.  My gut feeling is that you're looking at a win total in the low 30s.  If you can find some way to adjust a bit and switch to the right Oscar & Unseld, then I'd change my mind.

normally with the 8th pick im thinking dwight/shaq/drob/mailman/barkley....but i wanted to build around a guard this time and ended up taking wade over durant/cp3....really should have just traded down...vancem got durant with the 23rd pick.....i usually like to build my teams based on the strength of my first rounder...with wade its his defense and extremely high usage(allowing you to not have to worry about usage the rest of the way)...last time i had him i also went with a half-court defensive team and won it all...but that was in the 52mil draft and i was able to cherry pick some great defenders late in the draft....its much harder to go with defense in the odl...it also usually doesnt work haha....at first i thought i was gonna end up with the same exact team i had with wade in the 52...marshall was just sitting there begging me to take him...and i knew kemp would be available in the 3rd...i like that trio a lot but kemp is really expensive and i didnt want a repeat of last year....ive never had walton but figured it was time to give him a try..he fits the team plan nicely...i wanted better d than daniels with my 3rd rounder but his rebounding and solid scoring/efficiency were too good to pass up....west was an easy pick and reunites the championship backcourt i had....outlaw had the perfect d, salary,  and usage but the boards were weak...decided to go with him anyway since walton/daniels is a great combo down ow on the boards...i was also able to add some good boarders off the bench to make up for it as well

i honestly have no idea what to make of this team....wades gonna get his and ill be tough to score on but it just feels a little bleh overall to me....nothing would surprise me

and yes...of course ill take an eval ash haha

Oh and while I'm giving out props, eleibowitz knows that he taught me more than anyone else on the sim, I'd likely be one of those guys lucky to hit .500 in a draft league without the things he shared with me personally, thx again.
Thanks nate for the props, anytime. ..

Initial impression:  Wow, I don't want to play this team in a 7-game series.

Shooting Struggle:  Nobody is bad, per say, and you do have enough assists to keep them around their RL averages while running HC (which you stated you're going to do), but the offense just is not sexy.  That defense is horrifying, however.  It might be enough to bend the SS your way.  You should be competitive in it even if you don't end up with the advantage.

Possession Battle:  You've got enough rebounds to get plenty of second opportunities for all of those missed shots and a high enough defensive rebounding percentage to clean up a good chunk of your opponents' misses.  Not too many teams are running with 45% oreb (which means you'll have better than a 2:1 chance of grabbing said board versus most people), so I like what's going on here.  Turnovers are disgustingly bad, though.  I think you've got a competitive advantage, but a small one.

Foul Factor:  Wade & West are MONSTERS at getting to the line.  You also have very little fouls in place.  You're not using the inside/outside approach at all, but again, Wade & West are monsters.  You've got a definite competitive advantage here.

Conclusion:  I'll be shocked if this team wins less than 41 games.  I don't really feel as though it's a dominant team, but it could end up being one.  I go back to my initial reaction:  I do not want to see this team in a 7-game series.

Initial Impression:  Goodie gum drops, you didn't fall victim to the Gloated Glove Game!  I wish you'd use a different Russell, though.  Still... solid team for how it started!

Shooting Struggle:  While Glove & Glide are rock solid but not spectacular, Boozer is exactly what you want out of your highest usage guy.  Definitely have enough assists in play to keep those shooting percentages at or above RL averages.  Defense is solid: Russell covers Boozer... both guys in the back court are good.  Millsap is average, but SF is not usually a big offensive threat in this league.  I feel like this team will remain competitive but not dominant in the shooting struggle.

Possession Battle:  One of the best rebounding teams in the ODL - on BOTH sides of the ball.  That, along with an average tov% and some great thievery, leads me to believe that not only will you be competitive in the PB, you should be in the neighborhood of dominant there.

Foul Factor:  This was why I wanted a different Russell... though he still doesn't foul that much, this season is his highest fouling season in one of his lowest minute ones.  That's the only reason, though!  Nobody on this team really stands out at getting to the line that much.  You have a decent but not great inside/outside mix, so that helps a little.  Your fouls seem a little high.  I'm calling this a wash.

Conclusion:  I think this is a playoff team, but I could also see it diving around the 30 win mark.  Honestly, 30 or 50 won't surprise me that much, though I must confess that a lot of that is that I tend to believe there is some hoodoo that goes on with your teams that is simply unexplainable without a tinfoil hat theory.
