fatigue and durability Topic

My #1 and 2 batters have low durability. Even if I rest them a lot, they are going to have a ton of at bats. Do total AB's hurt fatigue towards the end of the season, or is it mainly Games or both.

Also does anyone have a rough guide they use for calculating durability and recommended  AB's/Games over a season? My number 1 and 2 batters only have 77 durability and I'm worried already.

It's gonna depend on what position they play.  I think Cs wear out the fastest, then SS, then 2b/cf/3b, then COF, then 1b, then DH.  I think that plate appearances is what you can count it by, but I'm sure that defensive innings played is counted as well.

In my opinion, it's plate appearances and innings playing defense.

77 isn't something to worry about.   An upper 70s SS will be capable of 500+ PA, upper 70s LF will give you 600 PA.

I have found it to be something like this.
30 Dur = 250 ABs
add 50-60 for every 10 DUR - depending on position
when you get to 100 you get 600+ ABs depending on position.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Greg Wood at 97 and SS, is good for about 700 PA.
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Juan Ferrer at 39 and mostly DH, is good for about 350 PA.

Those are the extremes.

What does low stamina do to a player's performance?  I've been pushing my guys pretty hard for the end of year playoff push.  Most of my guys are between 91-94 with about 20 games left.

I find most of my minor league injuries occur at 97% or below.  Because of this, I seldom push my BL guys below that level.

No one is completely sure about fatigued production because there are too many moving parts and too few samples.

It looks like there really is a use for Range Factor.

Great responses, thank you.

I find defense suffers when players are below 100%.

Plus as Mike pointed out the chance for injury increases as the % gets lower.
