Fatigue Challenge Topic

Since a bunch of you dummies (I say that lovingly) think that guys playing fatigued are a better value than those playing at 100%, would any of you be interested in a theme league? We could have 2 or even 3 groups. 1st group would have to keep their entire team at or near 100% all season (maybe a minimum 140games at said fatigue level for position players and some wiggle room for pitchers?). Group two would have to keep their team between 88-93% all season (140g min). A third group would have to keep their team between 78-83% if people wanted to try that.

So this wouldn't be a grizzly style 0% guys for a while then bust out the A team. This would be a get your guys to 90% and keep them there all season.

I think you would want an except for AAA and scrubs.  It would be nearly impossible to manage at any level (possibly other than 100%) otherwise.
Also, the 100%er should be able to play down to 99% at least on occasion, as there is no setting to only play guys at 100%

If you make these exemtions and it is close to an $80M league I'll most likely go in with a 100% team.

Starters only would apply. I was thinking about pitching. Maybe have a minimum 900IP for a starting staff who has to log at least 130 starts at said fatigue level?

The easiest way to do it would be to limit the PA for each group with a compensating bump for salary.

I'd play with whichever of the three teams is needed...

I don't think you would want to bump sallary.  The whole point of the league is to figure if it is better to buy 600PAs of an $7700/PA player or 550 PAs of an $8400/PA player.

EDIT:  I now realize I just regurgitated what you guys were saying up top.  

I might be off base (and if I am I'm sure you dummies will let me know) but I think the way to do this might be with overall hitter PA.  I just joined a $160M DH league that just posted the schedule.  I have the least in my division at 6248 PA, the other teams have between 6500 and 6800 PA.  I'm in SafeCo  and the other division parks are Astrodome, Robison Field and Municipal.  Pitching is great throughout but I think I'll be fine running at 95-98% by the end of the season.  I've got 6248 x 110% for 6872 PA before I hit a drop in the fatigue percentage.  At 95% a player is on pace for 15% more than RL PA.  115% gives me 7185 PA.  That's between 42-44 PA per game which should be enough, I'd have preferred a division full of SafeCo, PetCo, and ATT.  

I understand this is totally gaming the system, but I'm good with that.  Baseball has always been about gaming the system and exploiting the rules.

Anyway, in my mind, the primary controls (or uncontrolled factors) for a fatigue challenge are (1) overall hitter PA and (2) parks.  Secondary controls would be (3) pitching and (4) whether to have the DH.
