Do you think that "progress" always make things better?

What I want to know is, why is it okay for the homosexual agenda to push its beliefs on everyone else, but if anyone says "no, my beliefs are against that", it isn't okay?

I'm not sure SSM is "progress".

You didn't answer the question.

What direction do you really think this issue is going?

Does that need to be answered?   I'm pretty sure everyone knows SSM will the "accepted" in the future.    It's just a matter of time.

It's already accepted by the majority of the population now.

Source?   Because, if the majority of the population accepted it, politicians would be falling all over themselves to make a law.

I think you're probably confusing accepted and indifferent.

NVM, I found a recent one from CBS/NYT.   51 to 44.    However, the "yes" is declining while the "no" is on the rise.

The trend of where the issue is going is obvious.

That doesn't mean it's right or better.

In this case, though, it is both right and better.

A decent-sized portion of the population will likely NEVER accept SSM for various reasons. Is that acceptable?

I'm guessing that decline is within the margin of error. I saw an ABC poll last month that was at 55-40.

I just spnt over an hour reading some of this crap and sme of u are nuts esp. bad and biz. Bttm line is if some ppl want it to happen it will. I do not personly think gays should marry but if I tell them that they will get mad at me so I may as well just pretend to go along with it.

I wonder how many other people do the exact same thing, shawn. I'm guessing quite a few people don't tell how they really feel about homosexuality anymore so that those who support the homosexual agenda (like several people in this thread) don't get angry and say or do nasty things to them.

No wonder polls suggest more people support SSM - many who don't are afraid to say so.

Occams razor. The likely explanation for the majority approval in polls is actual majority approval.
