The polls aren't consistent and even the ones which show majority support for SSM don't do so by much of a margin. Add to that issues such as people being afraid to stand up against the homosexual agenda, and you've got a lot of issues simple polls can't tell you about.

But if you insist on using occams razor:

The likely explanation for the inconsistencies is inconsistent polling methods.

The likely explanation for the scant majority in some polls is due to a combination of those inconsistent polling methods and other factors contributing to poll errors.

Eh, unconvinced. I think polls from several major polling sources that consistently show a majority in favor of something usually reflect reality.

Occams razor. The likely explanation for the majority approval in polls is actual majority approval.
And the decline in approval/increase in disapproval?

The small shift is probably within the margin of error. ABC had a poll last month showing 55-40 with approval growing.

5% is more than margin of error.

I was referring to the 2% decline.

I was referring to the 5% increase.

You're unconvinced a poll which favors the homosexual agenda you favor might not be accurate? The **** you say!

Of course YOU are unconvinced. They could come out and tell you the poll was in error and you'd still say you were unconvinced. Whatever forwards the homosexual agenda, right?

It couldn't possibly be that some people are against SSM but are afraid to stand up and say it, because that NEVER happens. Oh, wait, someone in this thread said that's what they do. Well, they must be the ONLY person in the world who is like that. Yeah, that's it.

Ok. But that still puts approval in the majority

Disapproval trending up, approval trending down.
6/17/2013 3:09 PM
Ok. Do you think that will continue?
6/17/2013 3:13 PM
Next week, next year, next decade?
6/17/2013 3:18 PM
Like I said before, there will ALWAYS be some people who are against SSM, and the percentage will be much larger than the homosexual agenda hopes or would like to admit.

5 years from now, will the US have more or less gay marriage?

Why do you ask questions that have been answered?
