strange happenings in the DII Allen PIT Topic

All 4 teams from Allen's Gulf South conference are in the final four in the PIT. Has anyone seen anything similar? What's more interesting....all 4 squads had losing records going into the PIT.

We only have one team left in the NT from 7 that got in, but our bottom dwellers kick a lot of ***!

That's pretty cool! Just to have 11 teams in DII post-season is rare.

Obviously this sounds cocky, but it's not rare for us.

I believe the North division has only had one season in the past 15 in which all six didn't get in.

We have 10+ almost every season.

As to this season, I know 2, maybe 3, of those PIT teams would have gotten in if they had winning records. We hade the top 3 seeds in the PIT, didn't we?

I personally do not think a sub-.500 team should make the post season (unless, of course, they win their conference tourney.  This situation is bad in DII, but the same situation exists in DI in Allen with the ACC.  I think you should have a winning record to make the post season (with the one exception noted above).

Agree 100%.  Losing record should not be rewarded.
