Which position fits best for this player? He has some real strengths, but also some below-average ratings depending on position. This is D3, triangle / m2m.

Probably the 2.  I usually like having a 1 and a 2 who can pass well in the triangle, and his low bh/spd would have me a little worried at the 1, but at the 2 he could make points off turnovers and probably pass out of bad situations while still being a reliable perimeter threat and even occasionally score points on the drive.

Yeah, SG looks like a good fit to me. Although if you have guards that can rebound and/or stellar PF/C rebounding, you could play him as a shooting SF/lockdown defender on a strong opposition SF.

I wouldn't have any qualms about playing him at the 1, 2 or 3.

I agree with what others have said about playing him at SG. 50 speed is not that low for a D2 SG and the other ratings make up for it. I dont know how I would feel about 50 BH as a starting PG but as a backup would be fine.

Definitely 2.  It's been a while since I've been in D3 but he doesn't look like a bad backup in low level D1 conferences.

This.  I think he can play PG if you need him there.

I think that I would try him first at the point because of the combination of passing, ball handling, and perimeter shot.

Thanks folks. I'm planning for the 2, but it's good to hear I might have options depending on how the rest of my team shakes out the next couple of seasons.

2 ... I'd be hesitant to put a 1 rebounder at the 3 regularly.

Probably the 1.

The 3 is out due to the rebounding. The 2 is a good spot, too, but only if you have a better option for the 1 as far as passing and ball handling are concerned.

At DIII this guy will do quite well as a PG.
