One thing smokey. If you are raking the teams in rebounding by using the total number drafted, and also in assists by the total numbers drafted, you are making a big mistake. You need to be ranking the teams in these categories by the total percentages of all of their players. And those numbers have to be weighted somehow by the amount of minutes per game that those percentages will be on the court.

Making accurate assessments of each of the teams based on the table above is not going to work as it sits now. And if the table isn't very accurate in the key category of rebounding then it is basically useless. No offense. I like the effort but your lack of understanding of what numbers the SIM engine actually uses is hurting you. The table actually reveals more about your lack of understanding than anything else.

Smokey, I understand that your initial rankings were based on IRL numbers and I assume that the weekly updated rankings will be based on actuals.  But doesn't W-L records rank us for the most part....or are you trying to determine if your formula will actually correlate with W-L?  What you are doing is not uncommon in that there are many ranking systems out there (such as sagarin), that perform rankings for NBA, college FB, BB and NFL.

I can be a lot funnier than that felonius. But that table is making me laugh right now. And that is actually quite painful as I am still feeling he effects of the stomach flu from last week. As I read smokeys posts that vertigo feeling starts up again. Did he ever tell me how many games my team will win based on the table? I really want to know!
